The VIIRU scarf is suitable for both men and women. VIIRU scarf warms both body and mind, as it is woven from wonderfully soft merino wool in Lapua's own weaving mill in Lapua.

VIIRU scarves are designed by award-winning textile artist Elina Helenius, an iron textile professional who is part of Lapuan Knakureite's product development team. The VIIRU scarf is an elegant combination of soft merino and straightforward timeless design.

Lightweight and descending, the merino wool scarf is the perfect choice from autumn to spring. The soft and warm material is comfortable to the touch, even against bare skin.

The product is made from Australian fine-fibre merino wool. The wool is mulesing-free and Lapuan Kankurit only works with responsible and certified spinning mills. All yarns are spun and dyed according to REACH regulations and meet the requirements of the Oeko-TEX certificate.

Lapuan Kankurit's strategy is to be responsible for the manufacturing of the products from the yarn itself to the finished product. Therefore, the largest and most significant part of the entire manufacturing process takes place in our own weaving mill in Lapua.

The product design, material sourcing, fabric binding and weaving machine programming, as well as the creation, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection of this textile are all done in our own weaving mill in Lapua. Sewing is mainly done in the subsidiary's own sewing mill in Lithuania or in the weaving mill in Lapua. The materials for the product are sourced from Europe, mainly from Finland.

Care instructions:

Wash only when the textile is really dirty, otherwise a light airing outside is sufficient. Hand wash up to 30°C or dry clean. Dose the detergent in plenty of water and allow to dissolve well. Immerse the textile in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not rub, stretch or twist. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out the water. Press between towels until semi-dry and air dry. Do not tumble dry. Iron only through a damp cloth, up to 150°C.
